✒️ The Socialist Cuba Flag refers to the current national flag of the Republic of Cuba, which has been retained since the Cuban Revolution of 1959 despite the country's transition to a socialist state. The flag features five alternating blue and white stripes, a red equilateral triangle at the hoist, and a white five-pointed star within the triangle. While originally designed in the mid-19th century during the struggle for independence from Spain, the flag was adopted by the socialist government led by Fidel Castro and the 26th of July Movement. The red triangle and white star have since taken on new symbolic meanings, representing revolutionary ideals, solidarity, and the guiding principles of socialism, while maintaining continuity with Cuba’s historical identity.
